- Center for the Moving Image, Elliot Caplan, Artistic Director. The Center for the Moving Image produces and documents collaborative, interdisciplinary projects that integrate the performing arts into the syntaxes of emerging media technologies to create a unique artistic vision. The CMI is a Center of Excellence at University at Buffalo, the State University of New York.
