"CRWDSPCR was the last documentary made with Cunningham. It was shot on film at the studio on the 11th floor. It began as a request from Merce to make something about his Company, but evolved into a work detailing the choreography he was making at that time. I filmed over the course of a year focusing on the light in the main studio as subtext. Merce and I filmed a scene where he was alone in the studio with only the camera. He performed a solo that remained unseen, until the film was screened."
